Communication Electronics Maintenance Master Badge USAF Global Comm Silver Air Force Challenge Coin

This coin is 1 1/2 inches in diameter.  Circa 1998, designed by CMSgt Herbert "Butch" Gall (Cable Dawg).

In 1993, this badge replaced Communications-Electronics lightning bolts badge with this one with rockets in the eagles talons.  All Air Force maintenance to include aircraft maintenance were authorized to wear this badge.  The Comm-Electronics badge with lightning bolts in eagle talons was authorized until 1998 and this badge was the only one allowed for communications maintenance folks.
