1st Director of the Central Intelligence Agency CIA Porter Goss Challenge Coin

This coin is 1 3/4 inches in diameter with hard baked enamel.

Porter Goss, held two positions following realignment of the intelligence community post 9-11. He initially held the title: Director of Central Intelligence which oversaw the CIA operations. Once the Director National Intelligence (DNI) created Porter Goss's title would appear to conflict with the DNI. Thus, the new title of Director, Central Intelligence Agency was created for person in charge of the CIA. Peter Goss is the only individual to hold both titles.

NOTE:  Have seen coins with David Petraeus as the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI), which is a title he never held and is impossible.  Guess what?  It screams FAKE coin!
