There were two orders placed in early 1992, Type 1 was the initial coin made, and a couple months later fixes were made to the eagle, and the diecast was changed to create Type 2.

This coin was made prior to RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge (AKA, Twin Bases), closed and the units either de-activated or moved to new locations. Note, this coin was made before Security Police were changed to Security Forces in the US Air Force.

It is a Don K. Phillips (DKP) original challenge coin.

Manufacturer: Green Duck Corp. Hernando, MS, USA.

Also of note:

RAF Bentwaters is also near the location of the alleged December 1980 UFO incident in Rendlesham Forest.
